Memphis man killed after stepping in front of semi on Highway 52 in St. Paul

A man who stepped out of his car was killed after a semi hit him Monday afternoon on Highway 52 in St. Paul, the Minnesota State Patrol stated.

According to the crash report, a Kenworth semi was heading south on Highway 52 at Belvidere Street when a pedestrian stepped into the path of the truck.

A Dodge Dart stopped on the highway was registered to the victim, a 28-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, the crash report stated. His name is being withheld pending family notification.
