Twins outfielder Buxton out with a broken hand
The Minnesota Twins announced Tuesday they’ve placed outfielder Byron Buxton on the 10-day injured list.
Buxton was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning of a game Monday night and now has a broken hand, the team states.
He had just returned to playing after suffering a hip strain.
To replace Buxton, the Twins plan to play Gilberto Celestino from Triple-A St. Paul.
