With just nine days to go until Minnesota’s primary election, Rep. Ilhan Omar is facing a tough challenger in one of the country’s most Democratic districts. This week on “At Issue,” we sit down with the congresswoman to ask her about issues like policing and get her reaction to accusations coming from her top challenger, Antone Melton-Meaux.

Meanwhile, Gov. Tim Walz announced his plan this week intended to help school district leaders map out what the fall will look like. The guidelines are based on a formula that includes positive COVID-19 cases and student numbers.

In Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Frey introduced new regulations this week aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus, but bar owners aren’t too happy with it, especially as the number of unemployed Minnesotans continues to top 1,000 applications each day.
