This week on “At Issue with Tom Hauser,” the coronavirus pandemic continues to require government response.
In Washington, President Donald Trump signed a record $2.2 trillion stimulus package meant to help unemployed workers, businesses, the health care industry and more.
Here in Minnesota, Gov. Tim Walz signed another coronavirus response bill — this one a $330 million package — bringing the state’s total spending to combat the pandemic to $550 million.
Additionally, COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate who gets infected. Hauser sat down with Sen. Amy Klobuchar to hear about her personal connection to the coronavirus, and her response to the federal government’s plan.
