Authorities conducting water rescue on Gervais Lake after canoe capsized

Authorities are conducting a water rescue on Gervais Lake in Little Canada after a canoe capsized and one person did not resurface.

According to the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, the boat overturned around 7 p.m. A boy and two men were in the canoe at the time.

When authorities arrived, they found the boy and one of the men unharmed. The two were transferred to a hospital to be evaluated.

According to the sheriff’s office, a dive team is searching for the man who did not resurface.
