Woman injured from shooting in south Minneapolis

A woman suffered from a gunshot wound in south Minneapolis on Saturday.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department Spokesman John Elder, at 12:37 p.m., police responded to the 3500 block of Cedar Avenue South.

Police found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transferred to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled the scene.
