Firefighters find human remains while responding to fire near Kenyon
Human remains were found Thursday night while firefighters were responding to a fire near Kenyon.
Hubbard Broadcasting-owned KAAL-TV reports the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office said the remains were found in a burnt vehicle parked outside a home on the 4500 block of Highway 56 Boulevard in Holden Township.
KAAL-TV reports the homeowners and residents have all been accounted for.
An autopsy will be performed by the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the remains and determine the cause of death.
The fire remains under investigation.
