Woman’s suspicious death in Minneapolis ruled homicide

The death of a Minneapolis woman in November has now been ruled a homicide.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office on Wednesday identified the woman as 54-year-old Kim Laen Theng. Her cause of death was determined to be blunt force head trauma.

Police investigating woman’s ‘suspicious’ death in Minneapolis

Minneapolis Police said officers were called to the 3300 block of Sheridan Avenue North at 9:21 a.m. on Nov. 17. There, they found Theng unconscious. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

At the time, her death was ruled "suspicious."

No arrests have been announced, as of Wednesday.

An investigation is ongoing.
