Officer helps deliver baby at St. Louis Park home

The St. Louis Park Police Department helped deliver a baby at a home this past weekend.

According to the department’s Facebook post, early Saturday morning officers were dispatched to a call reporting a woman in labor. Upon arrival, officer Joe Dohman assisted the woman in delivering the baby boy safely in the family’s kitchen, police say.

Dohman was assisted by officers McNeely, Bjorge and Sgt. Skog, as well as the St. Louis Park Fire Department and Hennepin EMS.
