1 in custody in connection to damage of Centennial Lakes Police Department vehicle, building

The Centennial Lakes Police Department says one person is in custody in connection to the damage of a police vehicle and the department building that occurred Sunday night.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, the department reported the damage appeared to be from gunshots to the vehicle and the building along North Drive in the city of Circle Pines.

A suspect was arrested by a Lino Lakes police officer.

The incident remains under investigation by the Centennial Lakes Police Department and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
