1 killed in late-night shooting in Minneapolis
Police say one person was killed in a shooting late Thursday night in Minneapolis.
According to police, officers were called just before 10:30 p.m. to the 3500 block of Girard Avenue North on the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a man in an alley without a pulse. Police say the suspect fled the scene prior to their arrival.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The medical examiner is expected to release the identity of the victim, as well as the cause of death.
