Wisconsin reports record-high 128 COVID-19 deaths

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 128 deaths from COVID-19 on Saturday — a new single-day record — as well as 1,937 newly confirmed cases.
To date, 520,188 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Wisconsin, and 5,450 have died.
The DHS also reported 103 more patients had been admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 complications. Currently, there are 953 are being treated in hospitals for COVID-19, with 227 in intensive care. A total of 23,026 patients have required hospitalization in Wisconsin.
Over the past week, Wisconsin has averaged 2,161 COVID-19 cases and 42 deaths per day. According to DHS data, an average of 8.1% of all tests have been positive for COVID-19 over the past seven days.
Wisconsin has administered 213,056 vaccines so far out of 373,100 doses shipped.
So far 487,754 people have recovered or are recovering from COVID-19 infections and no longer need isolation. Meanwhile, 26,823 cases remain active.
