One Minnesota theater wants to find out when the public will feel safe enough to return for live performances.
Right now, the governor’s order allows entertainment venues to open at 25% capacity.
However, some venues, like the Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing, don’t feel it’s safe to reopen.
To gauge the community’s feelings about safety, they are conducting a survey asking people when they would safe seeing a live performance. Nearly half said this the fall.
"We are as excited to get you back in his theater as you are and soon as it’s safe we will do everything to get the theater opened back up," Jeff Larson with the Sheldon Theatre said.
Despite not knowing when doors will reopen, the Sheldon Theater is preparing for live performances this fall.
