Roseville police report increase in vandalism over past year
Roseville police are encouraging residents to adopt deterrents amid a rise in reports of vandalism over the past year.
Police say they have received reports of smashed mailboxes, graffiti, scratched cars and knocked over trash cans, among other crimes against property.
"Not only is it a nuisance, it can be a costly mess to clean up," police said in a statement.
To keep vandals at bay, homeowners are encouraged to install security cameras, exterior lighting or motion detectors. Police also recommend trimming shrubs and hedges to make it harder to hide.
