TRIA Prep Salute, May 19: Mounds View’s Will Rogers

Every Wednesday at 6:50 p.m., we recognize a high school athlete or team with our TRIA Prep Sports Salute.
This week’s honoree is from Mounds View high school and it’s senior baseball player Will Rogers. He’s a catcher and pitcher, signed to play in college for Arizona State. He projects as a catcher at the collegiate level.

Rogers is getting some MLB looks with the draft in July. But the more likely scenario is that he ends up playing in college.
The Mustangs were 10-7 entering Wednesday’s game vs. Stillwater.
