Man sentenced in connection to arson of Wells Fargo in south Minneapolis
A Monticello man has been charged in connection to the arson of a Wells Fargo bank in south Minneapolis.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Alexander Steven Heil was sentenced to just over two years (30 months) in prison in connection to the arson.
The attorney’s office said Heil admitted to entering the bank on May 28 with other individuals to set the bank on fire.
Authorities say Heil added fuel to the fire by throwing items into the fire.
