Highlights from Vikings OTA Wednesday

Wednesday was our first day of access for the Vikings Organized Team Activity practice.

It was a chance to see new Vikings like CB Patrick Peterson and DT Dalvin Tomlinson, plus players like LB Anthony Barr who are coming back from a serious injury.
OTAs are voluntary, so not everyone was in attendance. Among players not on the field Wednesday: DE Danielle Hunter, CBs Jeff Gladney and Cam Dantzler, P Britton Colquitt, and DL Hercules Mata’afa.
We hear that Vikings coach Mike Zimmer is giving his team Thursday-Monday off with the holiday weekend. So OTAs will resume next Tuesday.

The Vikings do have a mandatory minicamp in mid-June.
