Minneapolis police find woman’s body inside burning SUV, investigation underway

Early Friday, Minneapolis police investigated a suspicious death.
Officers responded to an SUV fire near East 54th Street and Hiawatha Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Thursday.
The fire was extinguished and what police believe was a woman’s body, with traumatic injuries, was found inside.
The incident is under investigation.
