Centennial baseball comes back to beat Osseo in 9-innings

Caden Klebba of Centennial played heads-up baseball to give the Cougars a 5-4 win in 9-innings over Osseo in the regular season finale.
Klebba, a junior for the Cougars, was hit in the head by a pitch delivered by Joe Phenow with the bases-loaded. Klebba was okay and celebrated with his team after the game.

The Cougars got a strong outing from pitcher Hunter Belting. He went four-innings and only surrendered two runs. Counterpart Eli Larson of Osseo pitched a gem too, with five strong innings, and only one run allowed.
Osseo’s Matthew Kitzman gave the Orioles a 4-1 lead in the 5th inning when he delivered a single to center that scored two runs.
Centennial tied the score at 4-4 in the 7th inning when Brady Ivory ripped a double to right field with two guys on.
When the game went extra innings, it wasn’t until the bottom of the 9th that Centennial was able to walk it off.
