400 Minnesota National Guard members to return from DC Saturday

Nearly 400 Minnesota National Guard members are scheduled to return home this weekend after providing support for the presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C.
The National Guard said the soldiers and airmen will return to Minnesota on Saturday afternoon.
The 133rd Airlift Wing flew 10% of the airmen and soldiers that participated in the inauguration mission, according to the National Guard. Saturday, they’ll transport members of the 148th Fighter Wing, Bravo Troop, 1-94th Cavalry Squadron and the 682nd Engineer Battalion. The remaining 350 are set to return home on Sunday.
The more than 850 troops from Minnesota were among more than 21,000 troops from across the country that assisted with security at the nation’s Capitol for the inauguration.
