Nearly 5,000 Minnesotans receive COVID-19 vaccine at pilot clinics Friday
Nearly 5,000 Minnesotans received COVID-19 vaccines through vaccine pilot clinics Friday.
According to a release from the Minnesota Department of Health, 4,926 people got the vaccine across nine clinics Friday. That brings the total number of doses of vaccine given at pilot clinics to 7,325 after 2,399 were vaccinated yesterday.
Seniors, educators, child care providers get COVID-19 vaccines in Minnesota’s pilot program
The Brooklyn Center clinic gave the most vaccinations with 847 followed by the Andover clinic with 822.
The pilot clinics are initially serving adults age 65 and older, prekindergarten through grade 12 educators, staff and child care workers.
