Mayo Clinic doctor becomes Delta’s 1st chief health officer
A Mayo Clinic doctor is joining Delta Air Lines as its first chief health officer, Hubbard Broadcasting-owned KAAL-TV reports.
Dr. Henry Ting currently serves as the enterprise chief value officer with Mayo Clinic. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Cornell University, Doctorate of Medicine from Harvard Medical School, and master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, according to KAAL-TV.
Mayo Clinic and Delta have developed a partnership during the COVID-19 pandemic, with some of the clinic’s experts advising the airline on employee testing, strategies for cleanliness and operational tactics to reduce virus transmission, KAAL-TV reports.
Ting will join Delta starting Feb. 15.
