Vehicle drives into North St. Paul apartment building, resident injured

The Oakdale Police Department says it is investigating a crash incident where a vehicle drove into an apartment building Thursday in North St. Paul.

According to authorities, a vehicle went off the road at the intersection of 40th Street North and Century Avenue North and crashed into the side of an apartment building located in the 6100 block of 40th Street.

A man and woman were noted to be spotted walking away from the vehicle after the crash but officers were unable to locate them. A resident of the apartment building that was hit suffered some minor injuries from glass breaking. She was not transported to a hospital, police say.

There is no structural damage to the building. Police add officers are trying to identify who the driver of the vehicle was at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
