Dog rescued from ice chunk on North Dakota river

A dog was rescued Wednesday morning after becoming stranded on an ice chunk on a river in North Dakota.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office in North Dakota, a dog was reported stranded on an ice chunk at 8:54 a.m.
The sheriff’s office and West Fargo Fire Department were able to rescue the dog shortly before 9:30 a.m.
Through an investigation, it appears that the dog was able to beat security measures put in place to keep the dog on its owner’s property.
