VIDEO: People seen on surveillance cam climbing Paul Bunyan in Bemidji

The Bemidji Police Department shared a video Friday that shows people climbing the Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statue in Bemidji. The actions of the individuals resulted in a broken right arm for Paul.
The damage involved concrete from Paul’s arm giving way. The video shows several people climbing and hanging on the statue.
Paul and Babe have been in the park since 1937. Jensen Conservation will assess and fix the damage to Paul.
Paul Bunyan statue suffers broken arm
Police are investigating the incident. No arrests or fines have been made or issued as of Friday afternoon.
