Q&A: Wild forward Nick Bonino looking forward to playoffs

Wild forward Nick Bonino talked 1-on-1 with KSTP about wrapping up the regular season this week and the start of the playoffs, which could feature Game 1 as soon as Sunday. The Wild are likely to start with Colorado, with an outside chance it’ll be Las Vegas. Signs point to the Wild being the No. 3 seed in their division, with Game 1 coming on the road.

The 33-year-old Bonino has produced five points (three goals, two assists) over his last four games with 10 goals overall this season. He was acquired in a trade with Nashville in October for forward Luke Kunin.

Bonino is an unrestricted free agent this summer. His wife is due with their third child later this month.

The Wild wrap up the regular season with games at St. Louis Wednesday and Thursday.
