COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 54 new deaths, 3,501 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Tuesday announced 54 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 4,122 deaths since the pandemic began.

Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 184 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 19,510.

A total of 442,396 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 3,501 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 2.7 million people have been tested in the state.

The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 27.5%.
