University of Wisconsin-Stout cancels spring break 2021 due to COVID-19

Wednesday, the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie announced that spring break for 2021 has been canceled.

Because spring break has been canceled, classes will end on April 28.

UW-Stout joins UW-River Falls and UW-Eau Claire in canceling spring break.

"This was not an easy decision to make," Chancellor Katherine Frank said. "However, it is necessary due to the current status of the pandemic, the inability to predict its course through early spring and our responsibility to keep our university and local community as safe and healthy as possible."
