COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 74 new deaths, 2,402 new cases
Wisconsin health officials on Wednesday announced 74 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 4,196 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 146 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 19,656.
A total of 444,798 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 2,402 new cases reported Wednesday.

As of Wednesday, DHS reports that more than 2.7 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 27.5%.
