COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 5 new deaths, 1,506 new cases
Friday, Wisconsin health officials announced five new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 4,679 deaths since the pandemic began.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 56 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 20,703.
A total of 467,899 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 1,506 new cases reported Friday.

As of Friday, DHS reports that more than 2.79 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 24.8%.
