Police investigating after 3 shot in St. Paul’s Greater East Side
Police are investigating after three people were shot Sunday afternoon in St. Paul’s Greater East Side neighborhood.
According to St. Paul Police, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Flandrau Street shortly before 4 p.m. There, officers found evidence of a shooting but no victims.
A short time later, officers learned a 24-year-old man showed up at Regions Hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder. The man said he was sitting in his car in the 1000 block of Flandrau Street when people in two vehicles pulled up and began shooting at him.
Then, at about 4:40 p.m., a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman showed up at the hospital also suffering non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They told officers they were at the same location as the other shooting when a suspect approached their vehicle and started shooting. The person they were with was able to drive away and take them to the hospital.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday night.
Police are still working to figure out if the two shootings are connected.
