Man dead after single-vehicle crash in St. Croix County
A man died after a single-vehicle crash in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, on Saturday.
According to a release from the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, at 12:48 a.m. the sheriff’s office responded to 100 Avenue, just east of 166 Street in Hammond Township on the report of a single-vehicle crash.
Preliminary information shows that a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado—driven by 42-year-old Nathan Schultz of Hammond, Wisconsin—was eastbound on 100 Avenue when control was lost, the truck entered the north ditch and struck a concrete culvert.
The truck then rolled onto the driver’s side. Schultz was found underneath the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
This crash is still under investigation.
