Minnesota leaders encourage people to vote
Tuesday, state leaders throughout Minnesota encouraged people to get out to the polls and vote if they haven’t yet already.
Earlier Tuesday morning, Gov. Tim Walz emphasized the importance of Minnesotans casting their ballots.
"Everyone’s vote matters, everyone’s vote counts and this will be no different," Walz said. "We understand that there is a lot of excitement and a lot of anxiety around the election as there should be."
Remember to vote today, Minnesotans!

While we may not get the final election results tonight, a delay means our system is working and every vote is being counted.

Also Tuesday morning, Republican leaders spoke about the importance of showing up to vote.
"We think it’s going to be close, we obviously want every voter to get out there and vote, so that’s the most important thing to just make sure your vote is counted," Rep. Kurt Daudt, Minnesota House Minority Leader, said.
Great to be with @jkcarnah & @paulgazelka this morning encouraging Minnesotans to get out to VOTE today — polls are open until 8pm.

If you go to a polling place today, please thank the election judges. We need about 30,000 of them on Election Day throughout MInnesota. They’re putting in long hours, at some personal risk, to make sure that our election is safe, secure, and accurate.
