Election judges collect ballots from hospitalized patients
Election judges in Minneapolis helped collect ballots from hospitalized patients.
In a tweet, Hennepin Healthcare shared a photo of a new mother who was unable to vote in person, having her ballot picked up by election judges.
Every vote counts – that’s why we are thankful for @VoteMpls election judges who collect ballots from our hospitalized patients. This new mom is a proud first-time voter! #ElectionDay pic.twitter.com/Y1Rwe3Ll9G

Earlier in the day Secretary of State Steve Simon thanked election judges saying, "We need about 30,000 of them on Election Day throughout Minnesota. They’re putting in long hours, at some personal risk, to make sure that our election is safe, secure, and accurate."
If you go to a polling place today, please thank the election judges. We need about 30,000 of them on Election Day throughout MInnesota. They’re putting in long hours, at some personal risk, to make sure that our election is safe, secure, and accurate.
