COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 38 new deaths, 5,922 new cases
Wisconsin health officials on Thursday announced 38 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 2,194 deaths since the pandemic began.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 223 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 12,310.
A total of 249,924 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 5,922 new cases reported Thursday.

As of Thursday, DHS reports that 2.13 million people have been tested in the state.
The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 32%.
