Man taken to hospital following afternoon shooting in north Minneapolis

A man was taken to a hospital Friday afternoon following a shooting in north Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis Police, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of Morgan Avenue North at 2:15 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

The shooting is under investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time.
