Police in Minneapolis say they are investigating eight shootings that occurred Sunday.
According to police, the shootings occurred in the following locations:
- Penn Avenue North and Oak Park Avenue North
- 2400 block of Lyndale Avenue North
- 5100 block Bryant Avenue North
- 1100 block 24th Avenue North
- 2100 block 3rd Avenue North
- Lake Street and Emerson Avenue South
- Cedar Avenue Riverside and Riverside Avenue
Police also said one shooting report was taken at Hennepin County Medical Center.
The shooting that occurred at Lake Street and Emerson Avenue South was fatal, according to police.
Six of eight shooting resulted in gunshot wounds that were not considered life-threatening.
A suspect was also arrested in connection to the shooting on the 5100 block of Bryant Avenue North.
