1 injured in fire at Minneapolis senior housing complex

One person was injured during a fire that occurred at a Minneapolis senior housing complex.

According to fire officials, the fire occurred in a bedroom on the fourth floor of the building that is located on the 600 block of 18th Avenue North.

Firefighters were able to successfully knock down the fire.

Fire officials said one person was taken to the hospital with an unknown injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
