State Patrol reports 280 crashes, 164 spin-outs as snow falls Tuesday

As winter weather moved into the state Tuesday, the Minnesota State Patrol reported a number of crashes.

A total of 280 crashes have occurred during the storm as well as 164 spin-outs.

From 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. there were a total of 176 crashes, 12 with injury but none serious and 156 vehicle spin-outs. An additional 11 jackknifed semis were reported.

From 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., there were a total of 104 crashes, 11 of which resulted in injuries.
