A Twin Cities veteran has a new minivan thanks to Operation Homefront and U.S. Bank.
Jessi Faue received the minivan Thursday at a ceremony in Hopkins.
Earlier this year, the single mother of three jumped into action to rescue two of her daughters when her car caught fire.
Faue said the new vehicle not only makes her happy but her kids, too.
She enlisted in the Army in 2002 but had to medically retire after four years.
Faue continues her service as a nurse in the Veterans Affairs health care system, working to prevent suicide among veterans.
