1 injured in shooting on light rail train in St. Paul
Authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred on a light rail train Monday in St. Paul Monday.
According to a Metro Transit spokesman, police were called at about 7:45 p.m. on the report of a shooting on a Green Line train near the Capitol/Rice Street station.
When police arrived, they found a victim who had been shot in the leg. The victim was later transported to Regions Hospital. Padilla said the victim’s injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Police say the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
