UPDATE: Body of missing Moorhead man found

UPDATE: Authorities say the body of a Moorhead man who was reported missing has been found.
According to the city of Moorhead, the remains believed to be that of Marwan Assad were found Thursday afternoon. A vehicle was also located at the scene.
The body was sent to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for a medical evaluation and confirmation of identity.
Investigators were processing the scene Thursday afternoon.
An investigation remains active.

Authorities in Moorhead are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing man.
Police identified the man as 28-year-old Marwan Asaad.
Asaad was last seen on Nov. 12 wearing a gray winter jacket and black pants.
He is believed to be driving a black Hyundai Elantra with Minnesota plates reading DNS366.
Police say Asaad speaks very little English.
