St. Paul police arrest man suspected of stabbing 14-year-old boy
Police say they have arrested a man accused of stabbing a teenage boy Friday night in St. Paul.
St. Paul Police spokesman Steve Linders said just after 11 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the intersection of Wacouta and East Fourth streets, near the Union Depot light rail station, on a report that a person had been stabbed.
A 14-year-old boy was taken to Regions Hospital with a cut on his head and stab wounds to his chest, arm and armpit. He was still in recovery on Sunday.
Police said an investigator was able to track down a suspect, 37-year-old Keith Contrell Williams, at his apartment in St. Paul. He is in custody at the Ramsey County Jail pending formal charges.
