Girl in hospital after Minneapolis shooting

Minneapolis police are investigating after a juvenile victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound Sunday evening.

According to Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder, the shooting happened around 5:37 p.m.

The girl’s injury is not considered life-threatening, Elder said.

Investigators are working to find out where the shooting occurred.

No other information was immediately available.
