UPDATE: Minneapolis chef’s stolen custom smoker found and returned

According ot a post on Thomas Boemer’s Instagram page, the stolen smoker was found and returned to him.

Revival chef Thomas Boemer posted to his Instagram account on Monday, saying his barbecue smoker had recently been stolen.

"!!!STOLEN SMOKER!!! My beloved Lang 108 was stolen out if our parking lot!!! My Lang has seen hundreds of hours of cooking and event for my neighbors, friends, and our revival family," Thomas wrote. "This is just heartbreaking…"

The smoker had been used at many community events, and most recently for dinners done for pickup during the pandemic. Revival has two locations, one each in St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Thomas said in the post the meat smoker had been stolen from the corner table building off of Nicollet Avenue and West 46th Street in Minneapolis.

If anyone has seen the meat smoker, they are asked to call police.
