COVID-19 in Wisconsin: Record-high 104 new deaths, 6,202 new cases

Wisconsin health officials on Tuesday announced a single-day record-high of 104 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 3,115 deaths since the pandemic began.

Additionally, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 279 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 16,209.

A total of 363,973 positive cases of COVID-19 have now been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 6,202 new cases reported Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, DHS reports that more than 2.46 million people have been tested in the state.

The state’s seven-day average positivity rate by person is at 28.7%.
