COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 63 newly reported deaths, 5,469 newly reported cases in latest report
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 63 new deaths from COVID-19 on Wednesday, moving the state’s total to 3,178 since the pandemic began.
Wisconsin had 5,469 newly confirmed cases on Wednesday. So far 369,442 people have tested positive for the virus in Wisconsin and 3,178 people have died.
Another 248 people were admitted to hospitals to be treated for COVID-19. As of the latest report, 1,986 people were in the hospital with COVID-19, with 436 in intensive care. To date, 16,457 patients have required hospitalization.

As of Wednesday, the seven-day rolling COVID-19 positivity rate stands at 28.3% and has been dropping since Nov. 11, when it was at 36.6%.
So far, 290,969 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Wisconsin and no longer need to be isolated, while 75,233 cases remained active.
