A slightly colder-than-average January day is expected Sunday in the metro area.
KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said temperatures will barely crack the double digits, with a high of 10 degrees expected.
The National Weather Service issued a wind chill advisory for Sunday morning in Barron and Polk counties, with wind chill values of 25 below zero expected.
Looking ahead, Yuhas said Monday is expected to be cloudy and windy, with temperatures in the low teens.
Meanwhile, the next chance for accumulating snow might arrive on Monday with occasional snow mixing with freezing rain.
