Sunny day with warmer temperatures Thursday

Warmer temperatures are on the way, starting Thursday, KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl said.

According to Dahl, it'll be a sunny day and temperatures will reach the upper 50s Thursday. The warmup with continue Friday, with temperatures reaching the mid-60s.

Dahl said the 60s will stick around for the weekend, too. Rain will possible late Friday night and into early Saturday morning, and more showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday evening into Monday.

Unfortunately, temperatures will drop again to start next week, with more clouds, colder winds and more chances for rain mixed with snow possible by the middle of next week.
