Precipitation in the forms of rain, sleet and snow are in the works overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.
Dahl said the morning rainfall could potentially create some delays in the morning commute.
Highs are expected to climb into the high 30s in the Twin Cities.
The precipitation is expected to clear out by the afternoon. Then on Friday, temperatures will dip into the mid-30s with breezy conditions incoming.
The weekend features temperatures in the 40s before more snowfall mixed with rain arrives early next week.
